ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS: Deposit and registration fees are due upon registration. Both the Child Care Contract and Parent Program Handbook must be completed and signed. Your child’s Health Appraisal must be signed by parents and your doctor, and all immunizations up to date and on record. Emergency Contact card must be filled out completely upon start.
SNACK: Snack is provided twice daily, in the AM and PM. Foods include canned and fresh fruits, crackers, cheeses, yogurts, goldfish, etc., and served with either water, or milk.
LUNCH: You provide lunch every day, and we can provide milk or you may send a drink. You may also request to sign up for our hot lunch program which is served Monday-Friday. Each meal is served with a fruit or vegetable, and another side. The cost is $2.50/meal and can be paid with your tuition withdrawal at the end of each month.
SICK POLICIES: If a child becomes sick at school, he/she must go home for the following reasons: 100.4 degree temperature or higher; a total of 3 diarrheas within a day; vomiting, or any other suspected illnesses. We will always notify you if your child is not feeling himself or herself, even if no other symptoms are evident.
STAFF TRAINING: All lead teachers, infant through preschool, are qualified based on the State of Michigan requirements. All other staff members are required to take at least 16 hours of training; classes, seminars, or conferences relating to their age group. Also, we strive to empower our teachers in CPR/First Aid care, so 100% are certified in CPR/First Aid care.
SECURITY: Alaina’s doors are electronically secured for the safety of our families and staff. Each family will receive a code to download the Blue Diamond app to be used at any of the entrances into the building.
HOURS OF OPERATION: Monday-Friday, 7:30am-5:30pm
HOLIDAY CLOSURES: Christmas Eve thru New Year’s Day, Week of July 4 th , Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving & the Day After.
